
These papered clothespins, or "Pretty Pinches" are a simple, darling project great for gift giving!
Use Pretty Pinches in your kitchen to keep opened bags sealed, pinch bundles of papers together in your office, or adhere magnets to the backs of your Pretty Pinches to make cute magnets for your fridge to display your child's artwork! Pretty Pinches also make beautiful gift toppers!

the supplies...
Wooden Clothespins {Target carries big bundles for cheap!}
Paper strips cut from a variety of papers, approximately 3 1/2 inches in width
Mod Podge
Foam Brush
Pencil
Scissors
Ruler
Embellishments {optional}
the how-to...
- Cut TWO 3/8 inchs strips of each paper design, from the 3 1/2 inch paper strips
- Give one side of the clothespin a light coat of Mod Podge and adhere a paper strip
- Press the paper strip firmly down on the clothespin
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the opposite side of clothespin
- Allow drying time
- Pinch your clothespins to a box, so that they are in an upright position.
- Give both sides of the clothespin a light coat of Mod Podge
- Allow drying time
- Embellish your clothespins with buttons, gems, or pearls to give an extra added touch of sweetness
I've added some coordinating gems and pearls to my Pretty Pinches and pinched them to a handmade card tied with a satin ribbon.
