Felt Flare.

I found this little lovely at Target last night whilst spending a gift card
I received for my birthday. It was love at first sight.
An autumn-y print of birds and flowers with a combination of odd colors...
I brought it home with me, but it was missing something.
So I added my own special touch of felt flare.
My wool felts in exact coordinating colors made
the perfect mommy brooch for my "new baby".
I will enjoy the simple luxury of being able to carry my own purse
once in awhile rather than a diaper bag in tow.

From My Customers.

I've recently added a new page to my boutique to share feedback I've received from my customers about their experiences with my products!
Here's the first of {hopefully} many!

“I purchased a little birdie onsie from Colorful Kisses as a baby shower gift. It arrived very quickly, within a few days, and arrived wrapped in cute tissue paper. The design was adorable. It was a huge it at the shower, getting lots of oohs and aaahs. I will definitely purchase again from Colorful Kisses!” ~ Candy

If you have purchased my product online or at local boutiques, I'd love to hear from you as well! Please feel free to e-mail me at colorfulkisses {at} gmail {dot} com.
Thank you!

MomDot.com

In efforts to increase my exposure, I'm seeking some successful {& economical} advertising resources and venues...
Here's one that's definitely worthwhile!

MomDot is a mom blog listing site that is run by mommy bloggers, trisha, alicia, and bridgette. They run contests weekly, reviews on awesome (and not so awesome) products for family and kids, and talk about their lives. But more importantly, they feature bloggers and mom boutiques to give them an avenue to get thier name out there, also assisting in google links! You can head out and list your blog for free and talk to them about doing an interview about you. Head on over and see what MomDot is about!

Berry Forest Paintings - Destash Goodies.

These cheerful paintings were created on a whim!

I thought they’d hang nicely in my daughter’s playroom but
we’ve since moved furniture and haven’t the wall space.
The set of 3 Berry Forest Acrylic paintings include
one Owl on Branch, Strawberry Pair, and Mushroom. They are originals!

This set is up for grabs in my Destash Goodies room!

How To Make Your Own Pretty Pinches

These papered clothespins, or "Pretty Pinches" are a simple, darling project great for gift giving!

Use Pretty Pinches in your kitchen to keep opened bags sealed, pinch bundles of papers together in your office, or adhere magnets to the backs of your Pretty Pinches to make cute magnets for your fridge to display your child's artwork! Pretty Pinches also make beautiful gift toppers!

the supplies...

Wooden Clothespins {Target carries big bundles for cheap!}
Paper strips cut from a variety of papers, approximately 3 1/2 inches in width
Mod Podge
Foam Brush
Pencil
Scissors
Ruler
Embellishments {optional}

the how-to...
  1. Cut TWO 3/8 inchs strips of each paper design, from the 3 1/2 inch paper strips
  2. Give one side of the clothespin a light coat of Mod Podge and adhere a paper strip
  3. Press the paper strip firmly down on the clothespin
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 for the opposite side of clothespin
  5. Allow drying time
  6. Pinch your clothespins to a box, so that they are in an upright position.
  7. Give both sides of the clothespin a light coat of Mod Podge
  8. Allow drying time
  9. Embellish your clothespins with buttons, gems, or pearls to give an extra added touch of sweetness

I've added some coordinating gems and pearls to my Pretty Pinches and pinched them to a handmade card tied with a satin ribbon.

Also, you'll find a variety of Pretty Pinches scattered amongst my pantry!
